A fine display of goalkeeping by Greig, the ex-Aberdeen and Darlington custodian, enabled Peterhead to share in a goal-less draw with Aberdeen A in an Aberdeenshire League game at Pittodrie last night. A small attendance witnessed a game in which Aberdeen A were generally on the offensive, but, if for nothing else than their plucky defence, Peterhead earned the point that fell to them. Greig's goalkeeping was far and away the best thing in the game. In both periods he defied shots from all angles and ranges, and even in the failing light near the close he stopped balls that must have counted.
