Aberdeen Player's Scoring Record. SIXTEEN GOALS IN FOUR GAMES,

In an Aberdeen and District League Fixture at Pittodrie last night Aberdeen A easily defeats Banff by 10 goals to 0. Banff were assisted by several Aberdeen, juniors. Aberdeen were early on the offensive, and a fine shot by McLeod was well saved by Cormack. Off a corner nicely placed by Reid, Carroll opened the home sides' account with a header. Soon afterwards a penalty fell to Aberdeen, but Carroll who took the kick sent wide. Aberdeen were having most of the play, Banff being hemmed in their own half. McLeod scored a second goal off a pass from Ritchie. A minute later, Ritohie took a corner kick which hit the post and rebounded into the net. A fine run and shot by Reid was rather luckily saved by the Banff custodian, and before the interval Carroll scored a fourth off a corner. In the second half Aberdeen kept up the pressure and Carroll added other three in quick succession. The visitors' spasmodic attacks were useless, the home defence being too strong. Warnock missed a great chance of scoring for Banff when he shot a nice pass from Yorston weakly over. After some fine combination by the Aberdeen forwards Carroll added three more, bringing the total to ten, and his individual contribution up to eight. Best for Aberdeen A were Edward, Carroll, and Reid. The pick of the visitors were Yorston, Wills, Hunter, and MacRae. In four successive games Carroll has scored an aggregate of 16 goals. His total has been made up as follows:- Saturday v. Kilmarnock A, 3; Monday v. Buckie Thistle, 3: Tuesday v. Huntly 2, last night v. Banff, 8.
