Arbroath 1 - 1 Aberdeen

HT Score: Arbroath 1 - 1 Aberdeen

Scottish Reserve League East
Aberdeen scorers: Booth.

21/11/1988 | KO: 19:30

In the Reserve League East, a few days later, things were better in the shape of a 1-1 draw at Arbroath. Scott Booth put a mixed collec¬tion of Dons ahead but they then could not see it through.
There was no great criticism of this because the defence included a couple of players who were experimentally out of position, McArthur at right back and Roddie at left back. When the equaliser came McArthur, in his unusual role, was caught out of position. Even so Dons ought to have clinched it, both Paul Wright and Lee Gardner having the chances to do so.
