Airdrie 2 - 2 Aberdeen

HT Score: Airdrie 1 - 0 Aberdeen

Scottish Reserve League Cup Second Round First Leg
Airdrie scorers: McGeough, Kirkland
Aberdeen scorers: McGhee, Watson.

18/09/1979 | KO: 19:30

We play Airdrie Reserves in the second round of the Reserve League Cup at Airdrie, where we will be meeting up with David Thomson one of our young players who is on loan to Airdrie. From all accounts Dave is playing well for the Broomfield Colts so let's hope he does not do too well against us. Another well-known face playing against us will be our ex player Danny McGeough. Danny has had made a few appearances for the first team. To get back to Duncan Davidson's goal scored in 15 sees last Saturday (v Rangers reserves at Ibrox) it still doesn't beat John McMaster's record. A few years ago John scored a faster one against Motherwell Reserves at Pittodrie.
