Blunders Cost Reserves Dear

A week past Thursday we came a cropper at Bayview Park Methil when East Fife Reserves beat us by two goals to Nil.
The small pitch did not suit our style of play, with the result that our midfield didn't get the room they usually have on our own pitch. When one considers that our midfield of Andy Watson (18), Peter Kettings (16), Neil Simpson (16), Neil Burke (16) are inexperienced (the last three were playing in juvenile football last season) they found themselves against experienced players you will understand why we didn't get the result we were looking for. Due to injuries East Fife fielded six players from their first team Two defensive mistakes cost us our goals, but on saying that our defenders Neil Cooper, Steve Ritchie and Doug Considine were our best players.
No date has been fixed for the return game, but when it does take place I'm sure our boys will make up the two goal deficit.
