Aberdeen 2 - 1 Elgin City

Friendly
Aberdeen scorers: Brown, Campbell.

15/07/1976 | KO: 19:30

Our first game of the pre-season was a closed door trial against Elgin City's Aberdeen based players. It was a good opportunity to try out the young players who were on trial with us, one or two of them give a good account of themselves.
John Reilly, Dougie Brown and Jimmy Rodgers proved their worth and I'm sure the fans will appreciate the skills of John and Jimmy, and the goal scoring feats of Dougie who has hit the back of the net 10 times in 5 games.
