Last week's display against Kilmarnock however, must go down as the poorest of the season. We started off very well, and the Kilmarnock goalkeeper had some spectacular saves in the first 20 minutes before he went off with a hand injury that needed seven stitches. The visiting No, 6 went into goal, and so badly did our boys play in the remaining 70 minutes that he was tested only twice. John Craig was one of the few to play near his normal form, and it was from one of his crosses that Neil Cooper prodded home the only goal of the game. Neil, incidentally, was sporting a lovely black eye at the week-end after a clash of heads with an opponent, who required stitches.
