Hather's Bad Luck: Pulls Muscle Again

JACKY HATHER, the Aberdeen left winger, pulled a muscle in the Young Dons' friendly match against Hibernian "A" at Pittodrie on Saturday. It was a recurrence of his recent injury.

The second, half was only fifteen minutes old when he was carried off. After racing in from the wing to head a high ball he limped and fell.
Though the game was far from rough, at one stage there were three players off. Gallacher, the Hibs right half, had to leave the field for hospital treatment for lacerated gums twenty-five minutes after the start, but he resumed to play out the last five minutes of the game.
Gibson was also off for attention from the trainer.
Hibs deserved their 1-0 victory. In attack they were much smarter than Aberdeen. Gunning, the former Forres player, was fast and clever on the right wing, and it was from one of his crosses that McGurk got the only goal.
Back after a spell of absence with a finger injury Freddy Martin did some smart work in the Aberdeen goal.
