25-Second Goal Has Reserves On Top

This was another good show by the boys and like the game at Parkhead we again got off to a flyer. Big Doug Rougvie (back after his spell in the first team) put us ahead in 25 seconds followed by another from Walker McCall, which gave us a 2-goal lead in ten minutes. This finished the game as a contest, but we still had to be careful considering Dundee had seven players who have had first team experience. George Campbell who scored our third goal late in the game was playing his first game at Pittodrie this season. Another first was the appearance of Paul Halley at right back who was standing in for John Hather. Paul had a steady game, Andy Geoghegan was very safe in goal, along with Neil Cooper and Bobby Glennie were our best defenders. Up front Street and Campbell worked hard.
