Gibson Shocks Young Dons

After our recent good displays it was a disappointing result against Hearts at Tynecastle. We did not play the football we are capable of, maybe it was due to the fact that the two players Henry and McMaster were on first team duty. These two have been having a steadying influence on the rest of the team. Only Andy Geoghegan, John Hather, Billy Pirie, Walker McCall and Bobby Glennie (second half) played to form.
Walker McCall scored our first goal after good work by Ernie Drews, and Bobby Glennie got our second with his first touch of the ball after replacing Jim Crawford at half-time. If we are to qualify for the semi-finals of the league cup, we will have to find the form we showed on our first game of the season.
