We had a good 2-0 win against Kilmarnock Reserves at Rugby Park, Steve Cowan and Mark McGhee were our marksmen.
Our defence withstood a lot of pressure from the Killie forwards in the second half, that was when big Doug Rougvie and Neale Cooper our central defenders were at their best, they were ably supported by our trialist keeper Alan Anderson from Neilston Juniors and he had some good saves.
Neil Simpson gave a repeat performanceof his game last Wednesday when we beat Dundee 5-1. Steve Morrison also played his part inmidfield with some shrewd passes. Up front Steve Cowan worked like a beaver and was well rewarded with a clever goal.
