'A' Team Goes Nap

Aberdeen A had a comfortable victory over Hamilton Academicals A at Pittodrie Park on Saturday, the homesters winning by five goals to nil.

The young Dons were always the more likely looking team in the first half, but twenty minutes had gone before Paterson headed through the opening goal following Burke's flag kick.
Ten minutes later David scored a capital goal from Burke's cross, and before the interval the home centre-forward added a third goal.
Hamilton showed improved form in the second half, Howe and McLuckie forming a dangerous left wing. Their finishing was not impressive, however, and Cummings was seldom tested.
Aberdeen again took up the offensive, and in the last quarter of an hour. David and Paterson, the latter from a penalty, added further goals.
