Aberdeen 'A' Draw At Brechin

At Glebe Park, Brechin, Aberdeen "A' only managed to divide two goals with Brechin City in an Alliance game. Aberdeen were early dangerous, Brodie having to run out and clear. Midfield play followed, with Aberdeen slightly superior. Play was of a fast nature, and fouls were numerous. Smith on the Aberdeen left forced a fruitless corner, and at the other end Kidd and Morgan did likewise for Brechin. The interval arrived with no scoring. Brechin on the resumption opened strongly, but the Aberdeen defence held good. Both custodians were kept busy, Donald showing himself a good substitute for McSevich. With thirty minutes gone the visitors pressed, but Brodie in goal saved in brilliant style. Towards the finish Smith, who had been playing well throughout, scored a nice goal. Brechin, however, took up the attack, and just on time Jeffrey equalised with a great shot.
