Aberdeen 'A' Fall Heavily

Aberdeen "A" were defeated by the St Mirren reserves at Paisley on Saturday in an Alliance game by 4 goals to 0. Shortly after the start Mason scored for St Mirren off a corner. The Aberdeen "A" halves and backs showed up well, and some clever movements originated by McHale set the forwards going, but this was of no avail. St Mirren kept up the pressure, but there was no further scoring before the interval. On the resumption St Mirren again pressed, and a shot from McCrindle went past. A miskick by Brackenridge almost resulted in a goal, but the bail struck Forsyth and went past. Soon after a fine run by McDonald resulted in him adding another for St Mirren. The Saints were doing all the pressing, but McSevich was playing well. Jackson went to the right wing, McLeod going centre. Saints added other two before the close.
