Better Fare

Of late the complaint has been that reserve games showed little to enthuse over. That can't be said of last Saturday's match where the spectators, in addition to getting ten goals for their money, were treated to an entertaining encounter. Motherwell Reserves are at present top of their league - the Young Dons, alas, at the other end. The home side took the lead in the first half and when the score had reached 3-0, the final result looked to be a certain win for the home side. However, the Motherwell players had other ideas. When the score had swung to 3-4 against Aberdeen "A," there were caustic comments from the lads on the terracing. Then the Young Dons really fought, and to the cheers of their faithful followers, went on to record a convincing 6-4 victory.
