Well Played

Football is a funny game. Those who saw the fighting performance of the Falkirk "A" side at Pittodrie on August 14th must have thought they would be very difficult to defeat on their own ground. In fact, many Aberdeen sup-porters would have been quite happy if the Dons' Reserves had left Brockville with one point. The Young Dons had other ideas and really "went to town" in their match on Wednesday evening. They took command from the first and after leading by 2-0 at half-time, overwhelmed the opposition in the second half to finish with a 7-0 win. Their triumph against Falkirk "A" means that the Young Dons have a clear lead and cannot be overtaken in their section.
