Aberdeen 3 - 0 Dundee

HT Score: Aberdeen 1 - 0 Dundee

Scottish Alliance League
Aberdeen scorers: MacDonald, MacDonald, MacDonald.

21/08/1920 | KO:

Six thousand spectators turned out at Pittodrie in a wretched afternoon to see Aberdeen Reserves defeat Dundee Reserves in a Reserve League fixture by 3 goals to 0. Shortly after the start Macdonald accepted a pass from Grant to give the home team a lead, which was maintained at the interval.

Aberdeen Reserves had much the best of matters in the closing period, when Macdonald added two more goals and completed the "hat trick." The visitors were plucky throughout, and, although they frequently attacked, they could make no impression upon the solid Aberdeen defence. Best for Aberdeen Reserves were Forsyth, Robertson, Grant, and Macdonald, and for Dundee Reserves, Thomson, Hutchison, Reid, and Cowan.
