U19s bounced back from the disappointment of going out of the SFA Youth Cup with a win at home to Kilmarnock at Balgownie. The young Dons took the lead after only 27 seconds! Peter Pawlett picked the ball up and played a clever one two with Mitch Megginson. Peter then ran in on goal and superbly placed the ball into the far corner. Despite the difficult, windy conditions, Aberdeen played some good football and probably should have added to their lead with a number of close efforts, but in the end they held out for a well deserved victory.
