Points Shared in Dundee

Aberdeen picked up a point at Tannadice today, but they stay bottom of the SPL thanks to results elsewhere. United had the first chance of the match, but Paul Bernard saved the day, chesting off the line and putting it out for a corner which came to nothing.

Aberdeen's reply couldn't have been better, Jess set up Stavrum who knocked it in for his 9th goal of the season.
With 26 minutes on the clock, davidson played pasqual down the right, he set up Ferraz who made it 1-1. Influential playmaker Jan Telesnikov set up ex-Don Jim Hamilton, but he was denied by a brilliant save from veteran keeper Jim Leighton.

Moments later, Arild Stavrum was given the chance to make it 2-1, but he shot wide from a tight angle. Eoin Jess had an effort on goal after beating Craig Easton, but his shot didn't trouble the United rearguard. The home side came close to troubling the Aberdeen defence when the ball seemed to come off everyone's head in the goal area, before Russell Anderson hooked the ball clear.

In the dying seconds, goal scorer Ferraz nearly made it 2-1 to Dundee United after he headed a Jason De Vos cross goal bound, but his effort hit the crossbar and went over.
