The Dons suffered a nightmare start, going behind after only 90 seconds, Jim Hamilton heading past Jim Leighton following good work down the wing by McCann.The early goal sparked the Dons into action with Eoin Jess having a penalty claim turned down and Stephen Glass going close from long range.
Both sides were going all out in the first half which resembled a Cup tie and Jess just failed to get on the end of a through ball, the Dons best chance of the first half. Jim Leighton had to be at his best just before half-time, pulling off a great save from Hamilton. At the start of the second half, the Dons came out with all guns blazing and Eoin Jess drilled home from just inside the box, to put the Dons back on level terms.
The Dons were on level terms for all of four minutes, with Naysmith scoring a magnificent goal from 25 yards, lashing the ball high past Leighton.
The home side extended their lead with McCann slotting home from eight yards.
