Young Dons Pipped

The young Dons again conceded an early goal when Rangers opened the scoring after only 31 seconds. During a hard fought first half, Aberdeen equalised after 23 minutes when Ross O'Donoghue fired past the Rangers keeper. The second half proved tougher for the Dons and they conceded twice, before Calum McHattie pulled a goal back with 5 minutes left.
