Aberdeen came from behind again this season to win this under 18 league match. The visitors dominated the early stages of this game with Dons' striker Robbie Winters' younger brother David in outstanding form. It was only due to several excellent saves by Mark Peat that prevented the Tayside team keading at half-time.

It was therefore no surprise when shortly after half-time Winters gave Dundee United the lead.
Aberdeen, however, came back into the game and Darren Mackie shot home an equaliser after a good run by Stephen Payne. As the game entered its final stages Russell Duncan crossed for substitute Alan Carella to score with literally the last kick of the ball.
