Young Dons Win Easily

A 6-1 victory for Aberdeen "A" over Albion Rovers "A" at Coatbridge was no more than the Pittodrie side deserved. Right from the start they established themselves in Rovers' territory and it was one-way traffic for practically the whole game.
Robb again had a good game for the Young Dons at left half, and for the forwards it was more or less shooting practice. Pearson, who was being tried out at outside left, was the only forward who failed to find the net, but he provided openings for several of the goals.
McLaughlin, Millar and Stenhouse scored in the first half, and Smith, Gibson and Stenhouse were the target later on.
