Young Dons Were In Fine Fettle

ABERDEEN RESERVES put up one of their best performances of the season at Palmerston Park where they drew l-1 with Queen of the South "A." If they win their remaining game with Mothwell "A" at Pittodrie this week, they will qualify for the knock-out stages of the Reserve League Cup.
Feature of the Young Dons' display was the intelligent leading-out work of McMahon and Hune, the latter being in sprightly form. All the Aberdeen half-backs did their share, while Clark at left back was the outstanding defender afield.
Walker cored for Aberdeen "A" two minutes after the start and Chambers got the equaliser before half-time.
