Two Aberdeen Teams Draw

Donald's Two Goals

The usual Aberdeen A team fulfilled an Alliance League fixture at Paisley against St Mirren "A."' Nicol filled the centre forward position for the Young Dons in place of Armstrong, who was playing at Tynecastle.
Saints had the better of the opening play, but after fifteen minutes Aberdeen broke away and Donald scored a clever goal. The lead was short lived, however, Sim scoring for St Mirren "A" within three minutes. Adam was injured after this, but with ten men the Young Dons more than held their own, and shortly before the interval Gall put then ahead. Immediately afterwards, J. Smith brought the scores level.
Adam resumed after the interval, but Saints again held the upper hand , and J. Smith put them ahead with a shot that had Cumming well beaten. The Young Dons retaliated in spirited fashion, and gave the home defence a hectic time. Donald equalised near the close following a melee in front of the Saints' goal.
The Young Dons fully to draw, if only for the splendid way they fought back in the second half, when the game was definitely in favour of the homesters.
