Eleven Goals Scored At Pittodrie

Hat Tricks for Westland and Donald.

After a plucky first-half fight Galston fell an easy prey to Aberdeen A under Alliance League auspices at Pittodrie.

Seven goals kept the crowd happy during the first forty-five minutes. Though Donald twice gave the homesters the lead, instant replies by Mair and Smith kept the issue open.
Then Westland and Robertson put the Young Dons in a winning position, but the plucky Ayrshire side fought back in determined fashion and on the Interval Knox headed their third goal.

The Pittodrie men took complete command after the cross-over, and two goals by Westland and one each by Robertson and Donald gave them a handsome victory.
The home attack was in its brightest mood, and Westland and Donald, with a hat-trick each, were its nippiest members.
Westland led the line well. Robertson was also effective, and Adam did well on the right. Gall had some sparkling runs, but had to retire towards the close with a face injury.
All three home halves were steady, and Sharp was the best back afield. Cumming was a safe 'keeper.
Mair, Smith, and Knox were most dangerous In a never-say-die visiting attack. Alexander was a great power in the mid-line, and Robertson the shining light in defence.
