Young Dons Draw At Bo'ness

Both Goalkeepers Give Fine Display.,/p> Aberdeen A only managed to draw their Alliance League fixture with Bo'ness.

The Young Dons, with the advantage of the wind in the first half, pressed strongly for some time, but Dougal distinguished himself in the Bo'ness goal. The homesters then had a turn in attack, and Bridges was prominent with some clever runs on the left.
Aberdeen A were not to be denied, however, and they came away strongly near the interval, Armstrong scoring two quick goals
After the resumption the Dons defended strongly against the wind. When the home forwards did get within shooting range they found Cumming simply unbeatable, and he effected some masterly saves.
Bo'ness continued do the attacking, and Bridges got a long overdue goal after twenty-five minutes' play. Following this the homesters put all they knew into the attack, but the Dons' defence was very steady, and it was not until near the end that Connelly secured the equaliser. .
