Another Win For Aberdeen 'A'

Juniors' Plucky Fight.

Heavy rain just prior to the start of the Aberdeen A v. Aberdeenshire Junior Select match at Pittodrie Park Iast night affected the attendance, the spectators numbering about 1000,?br> As is usual in these games Aberdeen "A" won rather easily by three goals to one. The juniors put up a plucky fight, but were no match for the better trained Pittodrie team.
Merrie opened the "A" team's account shortly after the start. The juniors replied in spirited fashion, and Blackwell was called on to save a smart effort Baigrie. The same player a minute later missed by the narrowest of margins. The Pittodrie team did not exert themselves, but on one occasion a lightning shot by McKenzie struck the upright. McLeod netted the "A" team's second goal, and Falloon quickly followed with a third.
With fifteen minutes of the second period gone Stewart scored a well-deserved goal tor the juniors. The Aberdeenshire team continued to put up good fight, and more than once came near increasing their total. Near the close David netted again for Aberdeen A but was ruled' offside.
After a shaky start Cummings in the junior goal gave a good display, but neither of the backs were very sound. The half-back line was the smartest department, with Reaper outstanding. In attack Milne and Dickie were always prominent. Best for Aberdeen A were Legge, McLeod, Falloon, M Kenzie, and David.
