Jackson Scores Four Goals For Aberdeen 'A'

Aberdeen A had an easy victory over Queen's Park Strollers at Pittodrie last night by 6 goals to 1. McSevich did all that was required of him, and Ritchie and D. Bruce were never stretched. The Aberdeen A half-backs held the opposing attacker in a firm grip. The home side had a Junior from the West of Scotland on trial on the left wing, and he created a favourable impression. Jackson on the right wing was a great success, and McDermid at centre-forward was always dangerous, distributing the ball well. J. Duguid and W. S. Chalmers were the most dangerous of the opposing attack. F. Wilson was weak in goal, but G. Gilbert at right back did great work. F. E> Gillespie was the best of the half-backs. The scorers for Aberdeen A were Jackson (4), McDermid, and Cheyne.
