Young Double

The meeting with Hibs was played on a bumpy pitch at Prestonpans, but the Aberdeen side produced a sound display in defence, despite having to replace injured goalkeeper Ryan Esson with outfield player Russell Duncan shortly after the interval. At the other end, they had Derek Young to score a goal in either half.
