Dons Youths

Aberdeen's Under-18 squad extended their run of successive Youth League wins to six games when they registered away victories over Kilmarnock and Dundee United. Against Killie at Kilsyth, they had an early chance to take the lead when Derek Young was brought down in the penalty box. He took the spot kick himself, but it was saved by the home keeper and the interval arrived with the teams still level. The Pittodrie Colts adopted a more direct style in the second half and Michael Hart and Chris Clark both had chances before the only goal of the game came in 67 minutes when Kevin Milne scored from the rebound after Hart had a shot blocked following a Baldur Bett corner.
