Keith did well to draw with Aberdeen A at Kynoch Park under Highland League auspices. The home team to a man played fine football, and there was not a weak link in the eleven. Aberdeen, perhaps on the whole, did most of the attacking, but they did not impress at the goalmouth, and the home defence was so good that Gordon was seldom called upon. Keith supporters often voiced their dissatisfaction with the referee's decisions, especially when Aberdeen got their goal, which from the press box appeared to be distinctly offside. Cowie's equaliser was a beauty, and impossible to save. The second half lacked interest, there being little "punch" by either team.
