Aberdeen 8 - 8 Boilermakers

Friendly

21/09/1910 | KO:

Scarcely 300 spectators were present at a football match which took place at Pittodrie Park yesterday afternoon between an Aberdeen team and an eleven comprised of locked-out boilermakers. The game throughout was never seriously contested, as the score of eight all indicates. The Aberdeen team simply toyed with their opponents, and although the boilermakers scored first the professionals at one time lead by seven goals to one. Thereafter, both teams tried to beat G. Wilson, who had gone into the Aberdeen goal, with the result that the scores were equalised when the game was stopped. Teams:-

Aberdeen: R. S. Clark; Hannah, Hume; Wilson, Macfarlane, Hay, Ross; Soye, McIntosh, Murray, Travers, Lennie.
Boilermakers: Robertson; Main, Green; Clark, Adams, Todd; Morrison, Castles, Rennolds, Morgan, Carle. Referee - C. Robertson.
