Challenge For Dons' Youngsters

Willie (Miller) was particularly pleased with his proteges's performance in the East Reserve League meeting with Hibs when only a lapse in concentration and slowness to react after Derek Stillie had made a good save allowed the Easter Road side to snatch a late equaliser and a 1-1 draw.
On the other hand, an Aberdeen team including nine players aged 18 and under, had the earlier satisfaction of taking the lead through defender Stephen McAnespie as the result of a well-rehearsed set piece move from a corner.
